Founded by Olasimbo Alabi in 2019, Syms Architects began as a boutique practice specializing in private residential projects, interior design, façade design, and consulting services. Following our incorporation in 2023, we have continued to grow and expand our presence in the architecture and construction industry.

Ola Alabi is a renowned Architect, Chief Designer, and Director of Syms Architects, with over 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management. Her portfolio spans diverse projects across Australia and internationally, earning her a reputation for delivering innovative and functional designs across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
With a Master’s degree in Architecture from Griffith University, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, Ola combines global expertise with practical skills. She is a licensed architect (Reg. No. 12068) and a certified Prince2 Practitioner, showcasing her strengths in both creative design and project leadership.
As the visionary leader of Syms Architects, Ola directs the firm’s creative and operational strategy, ensuring that every project reflects her commitment to quality and innovation. Under her leadership, Syms Architects has successfully delivered major projects, including a $10 million community facility and a 26-unit townhouse development, establishing the firm’s prominence in the industry.
